his is the Emerson Mini Commander - a smaller and more pocket friendly Commander. It has the "wave shaped feature" and is just as formidable as its full sized father. Strong as a Bull Moose and tough as nails.

The Mini-Commander features our Patented "wave shaped opening feature" or Remote Pocket Opener. In an emergency or injury situation the knife can be opened with one hand as it is drawn from the pocket.

SPECIAL NOTE
When other knife companies make a mini, or downsized version of one of their knife models, not only do they reduce the overall size of the knife, but they reduce the thickness of the blade also. This results in a much weaker knife. Emerson mini's are left at the same full thickness as the parent knife. We will never sacrifice strength for convenience. You may choose to use your mini just to open your mail, but you can still drive it through the hood of a car if you ever need to.
